We are excited to introduce this editing tool to our volunteers! Not only will it help while annotating Etch A Cell projects, it will provide a valuable addition to the editing tools available for all Zooniverse projects!

About Etch a Cell - Correct a Cell

Our new Etch a Cell - Correct A Cell project introduces a new workflow strategy to enable accelerated annotations of fat droplets.

This project introduces a new tool to the Zooniverse that we call Correct A Cell to aid in annotating biomedical images. Volunteers are asked to use this new tool to correct errors in annotations of fat droplets from a machine algorithm trained on annotations you have provided from previous Fat Checker projects. Correct A Cell uses a new line editing tool that will help make annotating images both easier and more accurate. We are asking our volunteers to try it out and by using it, help us to create a powerful editing tool that will be available to help any Zooniverse project that wants to use the tool. For the Fatchecker project itself, it will help us in refining the machine learning model which we can then use to process more data.
