We could find Exoplanets and even Exoasteroids, but why not Exo-moons? Cannot we detect the transits of Exo-moons around the star of the planet?Exomoon example transit photo. If we do not find anything such as Exo-moons, this could mean moons are an exclusive feature, limiting to only some systems. (Please correct my opinion if I am wrong)

I think physics is what scientists came up with to explain how the world works, and it is the why to all the questions asked.

In transfering this discussion over to this new talkthread I hope to draw attention to the present plight and soon future much worse plight of optical and radio observational astronomy posed by an ever greater number of satellites and an ever greater number of bright satellites in low Earth orbit. The IAU is attempting to address and mitigate these problems. Volunteers in Zooniverse may wish to help by visiting the IAU CPS website at www.cps.iau.org and/or by other positive possible means.

It seems that the points about too many satellites, too many bright satellites and the problems that they are already starting to pose are all being completely ignored here on this talkthread ; so I will transfer these points onto a new ': Zooniverse Talk' talkthread with a totally different title. This might just be the best way ahead here.

Dyson sphere, it is a complex project worth a lot of money, much more advanced technology and thousands of years for it's completion. Why not we counter today's problems faced on earth which are becoming life threatening ? Fate of human race is in danger.

Thanks for sharing. I found a lot of interesting information here. A really good post, very thankful and hopeful that you will write many more posts like this one. official site

Fair enough, I certainly take onboard the points about Dyson Sphere impracticality, especially after reading the article link that you have placed here. However, my point is about possible spin-offs from the Dyson Sphere ideas/integrally interactive orbiting drones ideas to cut down on the number of satellites and size of satellites needed for global internet/global mobile telephone communication. Thereby saving observational astronomy, stargazing, nocturnal wildlife, avoiding collision hazards in Earth orbit and avoiding various dangers to life on Earth, etc.

I did some research and it takes about 120 trillion years to have a fully active Dyson sphere. More info can be found in the provided link: https://www.forbes.com/sites/alexknapp/2012/04/03/destroying-mercury-to-build-a-dyson-sphere-is-a-bad-idea/#:~:text=That sounds like a lot, that's only the first stage.

I've heard that there might not be a planet 9 because astronomers were not able to find any planets past Neptune, but some think that there might be a black hole about the size of an apple. The evidence is some asteroids are moving in a very funny and weird way.

In reply to @Proximab , @dogukantncblk and Zooniverse Talk/Zooniverse more generally. Could a more presently feasable spin-off from these Dyson Sphere ideas help to drastically reduce the number of satellites needed in low earth orbit for global internet/ global communications purposes? There are already far too many and further increase could cause much harm to astronomical science, as well as to cause loss of dark undisturbed skies for stargazing and other potential harm for life on Earth, environment, etc. This would all be even far worse with the threat of hundreds of larger, bright as Venus satellites planned. If the satellite companies were really, really clever, they would not need anywhere near so many satellites for purpose in the first place. One such possibility spin-off here could be a network of just at most a few hundred drones encircling the sphere of Earth in either low or synchronous orbit, operating as one whole organic network device, instead of all these tens of thousands of vastly bigger. brighter and harmful satellites. Any thoughts, reflections, or even possible progress on this? Could the IAU (International Astronomical Union) consider incorporating such ideas into its campaign discussions with the satellite companies? There is a link to follow ups on some of these important points at www.cps.iau.org.

Yes, the idea you said is interesting, I think so. If instead of an unmanned aerial vehicle, there was a satellite consisting of organic xenobot robots, it would both produce a large amount of energy and if the slightest damage was done, the structure could easily be healed, and since it is an organic robot, a large structure can be built in a short time. Of course, I have other crazy ideas as well. there is, but how much is possible in terms of engineering, it is important

I was thinking that we could make dyson sphere by sending bunch of drones over time which self- assemble around sun. If one is damaged, it can be easily replaced. They don't even have to touch. They can detect each other's position. And coul basically have similar positioning program as light show drones.

Im taking physics this year, I have no idea how it works. Especially forces and trying to find a specific forces.

Also, I really just mean to be explaining, I just tend to sound rude on accident when I explain things like this for some reason, so I'm sorry if that sounded rude to you.
