Is that a real photograph?! It looks like a painting! That is a million times over #dailyzoo worthy!
(P.S.: It might be easier to share things by using the "linked image" feature! It also helps you add hashtags to images... hashtags like #dailyzoo!)

In some Milky Way Project images we found "Pure Green Stars" and wondered what they are. It seems they are missing MIPS detection, so @povich thought they are asteroids.
@gemtechnetactive.co.za asked me about asteroid tracking or TNO in GLIMPSE, so I did look into two of the brightest again today and found they are moving between 5.8 µm and 8.0 µm:
Subject 2335110 - galactic coordinates IRAC4: 21.193745-0.44873929
Subject 2333155 - galactic coordinates IRAC4: 16.282904+0.61824042

This document has come from Shakespears world, notice the coat of arms on the left hand, what could you discover?

I'm not 100% sure how we should use this board yet. I still like tagging #dailyzoo -- but it might also be useful to have some suggestions here as well.
I think this is one of our teen interns' ideas in practice, so I'm going to let them use it as they see fit!

I know the launch of GravitySpy will probably be the next dalyzoo post. But here something for later:
I found a pattern in the new Milky Way Project that I personally call the Cat Nebula (bottom-right part of the image):
The hot dust in red has the shape of a cat head. Not only a funny coincidence of a visual pattern is visible in this image. The left eye of the cat is actually a Planetary Nebula, called PN WeSb 4. Another interesting object is the red circle shaped dust around a star below the dark cloud in the centre. It could also be a Planetary Nebula, but I did not find anything at SIMBAD, so it could be a massive evolved star, such as a Wolf-Rayet star or a Luminous Blue Variable.
There are more funny visual pattern and interesting objects in the MWP! #dailyzoo
Nyaa~~

I just fired up Galaxy Zoo today, following the introduction of the new data sets from the DECaLS survey of the Cerro Telolo Interamerican Observatory in Chile.
Today I nominate the galaxy AGZ000apsw for #dailyzoo:
This one is especially eye-catching because of the apparent massive size, the well-defined spiral arms, and the gigantic ring around the periphery.

Totally breathtaking, @Ghost_Sheep_SWR! #dailyzoo
In the Milky Way Project we also see sometimes a galaxy:
Subject 2273150
With better processing:
SIMBAD: 2MASX J20273134+3856209
GLADE: G077.6660+00.2738
