**Dr. Jan A. Venter**
Dr. Venter is based on the George Campus, Nelson Mandela University (NMU), South Africa. He manages the Nature Conservation and Game Ranch Management Program in the School of Natural Resource Management and is a research associate at the Centre for Coastal Paleo Science (NMU) and the Centre of Wildlife Management, University of Pretoria. His research is focused on vertebrate conservation ecology.|

**Mika Vermeulen**
Mika is PhD Nature Conservation student at the Nelson Mandela University. She will be using the camera trap data to explore mammal occupancy and distribution within the protected areas of South Africa.
