Results

So far, you all have helped us by identifying species in camera traps at the following sites:

New Mexico

  • Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge
  • Red Rocks Wildlife Management Area
  • San Andres National Wildlife Refuge
  • Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge

Oklahoma

  • Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge

Texas

  • Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge

We are currently working on creating individual models for each of these refuges to use for future wildlife monitoring.

As we enter the next phase of the project, we will be largely focusing on New Mexico and including data from sites outside of the National Refuge System as we help to build a statewide wildlife monitoring network!
